Our Process

The lithium-ion battery recycling process typically involves three main methods: pyrometallurgical, hydrometallurgical, and direct recycling. Here’s a breakdown of the general recycling process

Collection & Pre-Treatment

  • Used batteries are collected from various sources (EVs, consumer electronics, industrial storage).

  • Batteries are discharged to prevent short circuits.
  • Mechanical Processing

  • Batteries are shredded or crushed to break them into smaller pieces.

  • Components are separated into different fractions
  • Material Recovery Methods

  • Pyrometallurgical Recycling (Smelting)
